Long Ching–Dragonwell Westlake.
This tea was really sending me vibrations to preorder the first flush. Maybe because I live in Westlake Brisbane the name seemed familiar. Fortunately I was sent a few packets before it was sold out.
This is the best known of all Chinese green teas. It is produced in the region of Zhejiang, neighbouring the famous lake call Westlake.
It’s leaves are lengthways and flattened. It has a beautiful scent, is very high in vitamin C and amino acids.
Brew in 70 C or 160 F for three minutes. It’s liquor is very pale green with a fresh taste. A great tea after breakfast….
